The mission of Sole to Summit is to provide high-quality healthcare services to our patients in a compassionate and personalized manner. We believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, and empowering our patients to take an active role in their healthcare.

A Canadian Certified Pedorthist is an allied healthcare professional that is trained in the assessment of lower limb anatomy and biomechanics. They specialize in the design, fit, and modification of custom-made orthotics, orthopaedic footwear, and braces. They determine a patient’s treatment through a biomechanical exam and gait analysis. 

Unfortunately we are unable to direct bill to private insurance companies. However, we provide all of the necessary paperwork except for the physician prescription/referral for you to submit to your insurance plan directly. 

A referral is not required for any of the initial consultations. However, to go ahead with orthotics, custom or non-custom knee braces, and medical grade compression socks you will require a prescription from a physician that states your diagnosis/problem if you plan to submit to your private insurance. 

After you have been assessed and casted for the orthotics, we typically book you a fitting appointment about 1 week later. 

After you have been assessed and measured for the knee brace, it typically takes about 2 weeks for the brace to be ready.
